How are the dishes packaged?

Our dishes are carefully packaged to preserve their flavours, textures and nutritional qualities.

  • You receive your order in a isothermal boxdesigned to keep the cold chain to your door.

🔪 Vacuum bagsIdeal for certain dishes!

  • Some of our dishes are packaged in vacuum bagsa technique that preserves flavors even better and enables optimal reheating.
  • If this is the case, it will be indicated on the product sheet.

What is the shelf life of dishes?

Our dishes are carefully pasteurized - in other words, they are cooked at low temperature for long hourswhich allows them to preserve themselves naturally for for several weeks, even months... and all that with no added preservatives ! Magic, isn't it? ✨

👉 Stress-free you have plenty of time to enjoy them at your own pace. An impromptu dinner? A well-stocked fridge? Our jars are there to simplify your life!

How to... Open the jars?

Good news: our jars are tightly closed to guarantee the freshness of your dishes... but not so tight that you have to arm-wrestle with them! Here's a few foolproof techniques to open them without breaking a sweat:

💪 The "brute force" method (for the daring 💥)

If you've got an iron fist (or are looking for an excuse to build up your forearms), grab the jar firmly with one hand, the lid with the other... and turn with determination !

🔪 The "grandma" method (or the art of leverage 🧑‍🍳)

Take a round-tipped knifeslide it into the gap between the lid and the glass and lever gently. A little "pop" and it's open!

🔨 The "shock" method (when diplomacy fails) 😆)

If your work surface (or board) is safe, gently tap the lid on the surface. The air will permeate, a little "pop" will be heard, and your jar opens as if by magic !

How do I reheat my food?

It's simple ! Just choose the method that suits you best:

🍲 In the pan (our preferred method!)

  • Pour the contents of the jar into a saucepan.
  • Heat 5 to 10 minutes over medium heatstirring occasionally.

Tip Add a dash of water if necessary for the perfect texture!

🔄 In the microwave (quick and easy!)

  • Pour the ingredients into a suitable dish.
  • Cover to prevent splattering.
  • Heat 3 to 5 minutesdepending on the power of your appliance, at maximum power.

🔥 In the oven (depending on dishes)

  • Some dishes are best reheated in the traditional oven (15 min at 180°C) for a perfect texture and gratiné!

♨️ In a bain-marie (if indicated on the label)

  • Place the jar in a pot of boiling water, cover, remove from heat and wait. 25 to 30 minutes.

Where and when do you deliver?

We deliver everywhere in Switzerland, every week, on the day you selected during the subscription.

🗓️ Choice of delivery day

• You can select Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (according to your preference) during the subscription.

• If you wish to change the day, it is possible up until the day before delivery, before noon.

📦 Delivery area

All of Switzerland (Geneva, Zurich, Basel, Lausanne, etc.)

• No hidden fees: the price already includes weekly delivery, wherever you are.

GoodTip: If you live in an apartment building, consider adding a delivery note (for example, “Leave with the neighbor on the 2nd floor” or “Storage room to the left of the Starter”) to avoid any issues!

When will my first delivery take place?

Your first delivery will take place at the earliest one week after your subscription.

📦 The delivery day will be the one you selected in your subscription options.

How do you deliver?

Your food will be delivered by one of our partner carriers, such as Planzer, DPD, DHL, or Swiss Post (among others). We'll let them know the date and, if applicable, the delivery options you've selected.

What time will I be delivered?

We’d love to give you a precise delivery time… but our couriers have their own ways and tend to be a bit mysterious about it. 😉

In any case:

  • You’ll receive an email from them as soon as your order is picked up, with a tracking number included.
  • An estimated delivery window may be provided (we can’t promise it will be accurate though).
  • Delivery may happen early in the morning... or late in the evening. Thank you for your patience!

What if I'm not there at the time of delivery?

By default, we ask our delivery drivers to drop off your parcel at the following addressStarter of your home. Why do we do this?

  1. So you don't have to stay at home all day waiting for your order.
  2. And there's no risk of your parcel being sent back to the warehouse if you're away.

How can I be sure that the jars are fresh?

Our jars are carefully sealed to guarantee optimal preservation. But if you want to be sure that everything is perfect before tasting, here are a few tips to help you do just that. quick and easy tests tests:

🔘 Lid test

What should I do if I receive a damaged or missing product?

We do everything we can to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. But if an issue arises, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt:

✅ A description of the issue.
✅ Photos of the affected product and its packaging.
✅ The conditions of receipt and storage of the product.

We will carefully review your request and do our best to offer you a satisfactory solution. 😊
Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement or a refund of the affected product, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Since each request is unique, we will assess it carefully to provide the best possible response. 💪

Do you recover the jars?

Yes, and with pleasure! 🌍✨ We believe in intelligent reuse and waste reduction, which is why we're recover and reuse our jars.

📦 How does it work?

1️⃣ Keep an isothermal box bienBon.ch and fill it with as much empty (clean) jars.
2️⃣ Add the ice packs if you have them, we'll reuse them too! ❄️
3️⃣ Receive a return label :

  • We regularly include return labels in your parcels.
  • If you do not have onesend us an e-mail to bienbonjour@bienBon.ch with your preferred trade-in date, and we'll send you one to print out.

📩 Stick the label on and hand the parcel over to the carrier. (Planzer or other, depending on your region).

💦 We clean the jars... and give them a second life!

Is there a commitment period?

Nope. No commitment, no pressure.

You can stop anytime — just make sure it's before Sunday at 11:59 pm (suspension or cancellation will apply to the following week).

Can I change the number of dishes or the delivery day?

Yes, of course.

Whether you switch from 12 to 6 dishes (or vice versa), or if you prefer to receive your jars on Tuesday instead of Thursday: this can be managed directly in your customer account (or directly in the by clicking here).

The only condition: the day before your next delivery, before noon, always.

Can I choose my dishes?

No. But it's intentional.

We design each menu to be balanced, varied, and consistent over the week.

And above all: you have nothing to choose, nothing to plan, nothing to forget.

Is the menu the same for everyone?

Yes for the main dishes, no for the sides.

Everyone receives the same main menu. However, the breakfasts and snacks are adjusted according to your caloric needs (1500 to 3000 kcal).

Perfect for couples with different schedules.

Do you offer vegetarian menus?

No 100% vegetarian or vegan menus, no. At least not yet!

50% of the dishes delivered each week are vegetarian or vegan.

And if I have an allergy or intolerance?

We always indicate allergens in the product sheet.

But for now, The Abo(n) is not suitable for severe restrictions (gluten, lactose, etc.).

Can I order L'Abo(n) for two people?

Yes!

Just subscribe to two subscriptions on the product page.

Simple and effective. ☺️

How can I unsubscribe or suspend my deliveries?

Directly from your account — just two clicks (or one, if you're quick).

No later than Sunday at 11:59 pm.

Any suspension or cancellation will only apply to the following week.
