Drop everything for coffee after an Ironman in Hawaii? Rest assured, we wouldn't have thought of it either. But Denise Morf and Simone Ernst did.

It was precisely during this famous competition in Kailua-Kona that Denise (who was cheering hard) and Simone (who was suffering hard) had a caffeinated revelation.

Back in Switzerland, they decided to create Vertical Coffee Roasters. The goal: to finally offer coffee that tastes good, is ethical, and hassle-free.

Located in Unterlunkhofen near Zurich, Denise and Simone now roast rigorously selected specialty coffees, never losing their sporty spirit: precise, honest, and above all, genuinely friendly.

☕️ Base Camp - Espresso

Your high-altitude espresso, bold and comforting.

The darkest of the Vertical range, roasted in Unterlunkhofen (ZH), for lovers of intense and generous coffees.

🔍 Tasting notes:

  • Dark chocolate, plum jam, full body.

🌍 Origin:

  • Region: Rodriguez de Mendoza, Amazonas, Peru
  • Producers: Monte Verde Cooperative (250 members)
  • Varieties: Bourbon, Catimor, Catuai, Pache, Typica
  • Altitude: 1800 m

🧾 Ideal for:

  • Espresso, Bialetti, automatic machine

⚙️ Preparation suggestion (double espresso):

  • Dosage: 19 g (in) – 42 g (out)
  • Temperature: 93°C
  • Extraction: approx. 25 seconds

☕️ Guatemala Buena Vista – Filter

A bright and balanced specialty coffee.

This coffee highlights the work of Andrea Domingo Hernandez, a Guatemalan producer.

🔍 Tasting notes:

  • Caramel, plum, juicy body.

🌍 Origin:

  • Region: Huehuetenango, Guatemala
  • Producer: Andrea Domingo Hernandez
  • Varieties: Caturra, Pache
  • Altitude: 1600–1800 m

🧾 Ideal for:

  • Filter, V60, AeroPress, French Press

⚙️ Preparation suggestion (inverted Aeropress method):

  1. Place the Aeropress upside down and ensure both parts are securely attached (you will need to flip the whole setup later).
  2. Add 12 g of freshly ground coffee (medium grind).
  3. Add 200 g of water just below boiling point and stir to extract the coffee well.
  4. Let it steep for 2 minutes, then screw on the lid with the moistened paper filter.
  5. Carefully flip the Aeropress and place it on a stable container.
  6. Press gently until you hear the air escape.
  7. Enjoy!

Where and when do you deliver?

🚚 Throughout Switzerland, from Tuesday to Saturday!

Your meals are delivered quickly and securely via Planzer,
DPD, DHL or Swiss Post
(among others), directly to the address of your choice.

📅 When will I receive my order?

You can choose the delivery date at checkout.

  • Orders placed Monday to Friday → Delivery J+2 possible.
  • Orders placed Saturday to Sunday → Delivery from the following Tuesday.

Selecting a precise time slot is not yet available, but we're working on it! 🫡

💰 What are the delivery fees?

Our fees are progressive and free for orders over CHF 150.- !

Examples :

  • CHF 10.50 for orders between CHF 65.- and CHF79.-
  • CHF 9.90 for orders between CHF 80.- and CHF105.-


📦 What happens if I’m not home?

No worries! 😊

By default, our carriers leave your package at the safest and most convenient location (lobby, under the mailboxes…).

Your order is well protected with an insulated package that ensures its freshness until your return.

✍️ Can I request a hand delivery?

Yes!

Select the option “Signature upon delivery” at checkout. This option is especially useful if you have mobility or handling issues. Please note, you must be present at the time of delivery (inevitably 😅).

🛡 What should I do in case of delivery delays?

We do our best to ensure your order arrives on time. But if logistical issues occur, don't panic:

  • If your delivery is delayed by more than 24h (J+2), we will refund you in full upon request.
  • Your order is protected by its insulated packaging and remains fresh even in case of delivery delays.
  • If you have a question, write to us at bienbonjour@bienbon.ch and we will find a solution together.


❄️ How long can I keep my meals after delivery?

Our meals can be kept for several months in the refrigerator. You can enjoy them whenever you like, without any rush! 🎉

How can I change or cancel my order?

Need to change or cancel your order? You can change or cancel your order up to noon on the day before your delivery or collection date..

📩 How do I change my order?

After this period :

changes or cancellations can no longer be guaranteed, except in exceptional casesassessed by our customer service department.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or missing product?

We do everything we can to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. But if an issue arises, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt:

✅ Photos of the affected product and its packaging.
✅ The conditions of receipt and storage of the product.
